There’s a lot of scattered energy in the air this time of year, can you feel it?
With expectations, busy routines, holidays, pressures and life as a whole, we can get swept up into an influx of busy-ness!
After spending time with a brilliant young star the other day, I was a-livened by the insight and understanding of self, despite her struggles.
It got me thinking, after brewing with what to write this week.
Ask yourself honestly here, take note or place it into your awareness:
How often do you judge yourself or others?
How often do you love yourself and others?
Life can take you on a ride that you don’t feel in control of at times.
The pace, the style, the struggle can have it’s “way” with you.
Time goes by and you may realize, I’m not actually that happy.
I don’t actually like what I am doing.
I’m not talking to myself that kindly in my head.
I don’t enjoy the people I am surrounded with.
The idea here is to “stop and check in”
Ask yourself some reflective questions, before allowing the busy-ness to keep trailing you along.
Reflections through reading, journaling, conversations, listening to pod casts, attending a group or healing, all have a primary goal.
To check in with yourself and your intentions.
You are the master of your own life.
You create the energy within and around you, whether you are aware of this or not.
With that, comes experiences that guide you to yourself, affording you the awareness of what you want to create.
So I have a challenge:
This can be for adults and children.
It was fun to do with my children, as it gave an opportunity for self reflection, which illuminated the area my child was struggling to see himself in.
I can tell you what I see/feel in your energy field.
I can guide you through goals that are important to you, offering tools and actions that can be practised to create alignment. This can be a safe place to start when you don’t see clearly yourself, or a place to turn to when you are in need.
What’s most powerful, is when YOU start to see and experience clarity yourself.
When you decide to self check as often as you need, with care.
To get to know your ins and outs, facing the truth that you often hide away from.
You then decide how you want to respond to your experiences, having it come from a place of intent and magic.
My passion is to guide you to the deep parts of self, to grow confidence in your own knowing and intuition.
That connection changes so much of your experiences, feelings, over all health and relationship to yourself and all that around you. I am 100% confident, that when we do our OWN work on ourself, with courage and dignity and some help, no matter what there is to face. Ease, confidence and conscious intent become available to you, lighting up what truly matters.
So with that, are you ready for the challenge?
Sit together and ask them if they want to try an experiment.
Then share that you are going to give them examples; that you want them to listen with their ears, hearts and bodies. Then you will rotate example statements that use the language of love or judgement.
Example: "Eww who gave you that shirt?”- Then ask them, does it feel like love or judgement? Let them answer. Next one...
Example: “Wow I’ve never seen a shirt like that before”- Love or judgement
Continue these examples in no real order so the children don’t have a sense of what’s coming next. Then ask them if they are aware of how they speak to others or themselves?
Discuss the value of each and how we can change the energy of different situations with our language and intent. This can lead into great discussions or help with experiences kids may be having. Main goal is to bring awareness to the intent of energy we share or receive. Align with compassion and empathy in the language we share with ourself and others.
So now when I hear a judging statement from my child, I provide a quick 'love or judge?' reminder to assist and encourage self checks. BINGO!!!!
I challenge you to tune into your own language. Bring this love or judge into your awareness and see if you can catch yourself over the next week, month or year. I started this intention to self check about 10 years ago and it provides me an integrity to my word. Which is pretty powerful.
Ask others for feedback; ask people for clarity when they give you a statement. Example: Did you do anything all day? I may ask 'are you judging me or trying to help me? We can all use a whole lot more kindness within and out.
Thank you for taking time to consider the challenge and start taking steps towards awareness that will create a ripple effect on so many others around you.
You’re worth it!!!!!
With so much Love
